Allah (SWT) Does He Love Me?

Allah (SWT), Does He Love Me

Being loved is a basic human need. To be loved by our Creator is an even deeper yearning. Thus, we frequently ask ourselves, “Does Allah love me?”.

It was mentioned in many parts of the Qur’an that Allah wishes to ease us (Quran 2:185), that He created humankind in the best form (Quran 95:4), and that He wants what is best for all of us and desires for us to do what is best for ourselves (Quran 2:216).

Allah gives His creation unparalleled attention. So, what must one do to merit the love of Allah? What qualifications are necessary? Do we go far enough?

Please respond to the following questions to determine what is necessary to obtain God’s love.

1- Do you strive to emulate the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as best you can?

God gave us instruction through actual, physical, breathing examples. The Prophets serve as our role models for conducting our lives to the fullest extent feasible for our good.

The last messenger, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), about whom we have the most reliable record, is followed by those who comprehend this gift from God. And Allah also appreciates those who imitate His example.

Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Quran 3:31)

2- Do you make an effort to behave morally?

God doesn’t consider the brand and type of your car; instead, He considers how you manage your rage. God believes the breadth of your giving is more than the size of your house.

He is more interested in the contents of your character than your salary. Allah (SWT) adores good deeds.

Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people – and Allah loves the doers of good. (Quran 3:134)

3. Are You Resolute in Your Faith?

Those who are steady pick the challenging and righteous route when given the option between doing something good but difficult and bad but easy.

Those who are committed to the cause of justice persevere when fatigue sets in.

When life gets overwhelming, and all you want to do is give up, the patient perseveres and never ignores their obligations.

Allah also favors the steadfast. (Quran 3:146)

4. Do You Confide in Allah?

When they experience loss or pain, those who believe Allah remind themselves of Allah’s plan. Those who believe in Allah know that their dua (supplication) will be granted in some fashion. Those who believe in Allah never give up believing in Allah’s mercy.

[…] Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him]. (Quran 3:159)

5-Are You Being Just?

Just people never act haughtily toward others from other cultures or languages. Even if you disagree with them, they provide everyone with their rights. Truth-tellers speak the truth even if it means harming themselves.

[…] Allah loves those who act justly. (5:42)

6. Do You Make Extra Efforts to Do Good Deeds?

Sacred hadith from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):

“The most beloved thing with which My slave comes nearer to Me is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (voluntary prayers or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) until I love him, (so much so that) I become his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me something, I will surely give him, and if he seeks My Protection (refuge), I will surely protect him.” (Al-Bukhari)

Allah (SWT) likely loves you if you responded “yes” to all or most of the questions above. And Allah is the wisest. Continue your journey without letting your accomplishments make you believe you are superior to others.

Make a dua to Allah (SWT), asking that He love you and keep leading you to Him. And if you could, make dua for those of us who are having trouble.

If you provided a “no” response to the majority or all of the aforementioned questions, Allah (SWT) nevertheless desires the best for every one of us and has provided us with guidance for us to get closer to Him, improve ourselves for our benefit, and achieve serenity.

InshaAllah, we gain Allah’s favor through seeking God and improving ourselves. Ask Allah (SWT) to lead you to Him in your dua.

To win the love of the Creator, we don’t have to be perfect. To seek God, who is:

Oft-Forgiving, the Most Loving; full of love. (Quran 85:14)

Quranic passages demonstrating Allah's love for us

And we have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what we have created, with [definite] preference. -(Qur’an 17:70)

Spend in the way of Allah and do not put yourselves into destruction, and do good. Of course, Allah loves those who do good.

Why (will they) not (be blamed)? Whoever fulfils his pledge and fears Allah, then, Allah loves the God-fearing.

So, (O Prophet) it is through mercy from Allah that you are gentle to them. They would have dispersed from around you if you had been rough and hard-hearted. So, pardon them, and seek Forgiveness for them. Consult them in the matter, and trust Allah once you have decided. Indeed, Allah loves those who place their trust in Him

So, because they broke their pledge, We cursed them and made their hearts hardened. They change words from their places, and they have overlooked a good deal of the Advice they were given. Every now and then you come across a certain treachery from all of them, except a few. So, forgive them and forego. Indeed, Allah loves those who are good in deeds
